What would it be like for every room of the house to have eyes—the eyes of saints, the eyes of the masters, the eyes of the divine ones? To fill your house with altars, with wisdom, to fill your heart with songs, to fill your eyes with love. If you bless everything, everything will become a blessing.

At the end of the day, the book will close on the stories. At the end of the day, we won't take any of our belongings with us. And so, while most of the world looks outside for their happiness, for their salvation, for their peace, the right questions turn us around to say that there's only one place that we can look and that is in the direction of where the looking is coming from.

The dark night is long when it comes for those who find themselves walking it. But for those who carry a flame within, the encroaching darkness becomes the very canvas on which their light paints its emergence.

If you perceive the source of yourself you will perceive it in everything else. And, if you perceive the source in everything else you will perceive it in yourself.

Close your eyes and look—not to find a center, but to fall into the vastness that has no edge, no beginning, no end. Beneath all stories and identities is a presence untouched by time. When we rest there, the search is over. What we long for has been here all along.

You cannot go looking for the divine, because it is only ever and always the divine that looks. When we quiet the mind and lift the veil of thought, we remember our original nature—vast, wordless, eternal.
